Did you know that one mitzvah leads to another?
Now is your chance to:

Catch the Fever and Get Caught Performing a Mitzvah!!

In order to encourage our children to make performing mitzvoth a part of their every day lives, why not document the times that they do so.  HOW?

Take a photo of your child and/or family getting caught performing a mitzvah and then share the photo with the rest of the congregation!  We would like one hardcopy photo, as well as a digital shared via email.  All photos shared in this way will then be displayed in the form of a large photo frame, as well as in the Candlestick, Jewish News and/or Neighbor News.

Let’s spread the word and make performing mitzvoth an epidemic of global proportions!!

We are trying to increase awareness and use of our library.  We have reference, history and novels for you or your child's use and enjoyment.  We will be buying current popular titles and will be subscribing to some monthly magazines/newspapers of Jewish interest.  There will be a sign out sheet for anyone who borrows books. Please be considerate and return in a timely fashion. Please look in your home for any books that may have been taken out in the past, and return them.  You can make a donation of $18 for any reason and a bookplate will be inscribed for you.  You can donate books of Jewish interest, or a current monthly publication. If you are in our recent synagogue book club, consider donating this current title to us!  Please let us know if you have read a great title that we should get for our library.  We would of course be interested if anyone wants to volunteer time to the library, and in any suggestions or comments anyone may have.  Please call Mary Joan Mandel!
