December 2017 Men’s Club President’s Message:
On Sunday November 5, 2017 the Men’s Club hosted Ralph Carhart, the creator of the Hall Ball Project. Ralph is on a quest to photograph this baseball that his wife found near Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, NY with each member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, both living and deceased.
Ralph gave an engaging presentation of with stories of his favorite players that he has met and the grave sites he has visited. He is only missing 8 living players in order to complete his project and then he intends to donate the ball to the Hall of Fame and write a book.
Please see Ralph’s website if you are interested in learning more about the project. http://thehallball.sportspalooza.com/
Look for more exciting events to be announced soon.
Congratulations to our PBJC Men’s Club Man of the Year, Richard Kurland and to our PBJC Men’s Club Youth of the Year, Randi Deitz
