Sisterhood

November 2017

With the high holidays behind us, we move on to another busy time for Sisterhood.  Firstly, many thanks to Amy Brachfeld and Helene Vallese, our Vice Presidents of Programming for organizing our annual Welcome Back Breakfast which was held on October 15th.  We all enjoyed a delicious spread, caught up with old friends and learned more about Sisterhood’s offerings.

Also, thanks goes out to Staci Handler and Cory Solotoff, our Z’Havah chairs for organizing the Havdalah PJ party for the Nursery School on October 22nd.  All of the attendees had a great time!

Looking ahead, we have our Annual Paid Up Dinner and Program on Thursday, November 16th at 7pm.  Come for a wonderful evening of great food, wine, good friends and a helpful and informative program!  Please RSVP to our Membership Chair, Elisa Sandler (elisalsandler@gmail.com). Please refer to the flyer located in this Candlestick issue for more info.

Our annual Marketplace will take place on Thursday November 30th from 4-830pm.  Our chairs, Annika Levitt and Erica Schachter have put together an exciting array of vendors along with fabulous entertainment and raffle prizes!  Don’t miss out!  Bring your friends, neighbors and kids! Get all of your holiday shopping done in one convenient place!

Remember to purchase scrip in the office or through MarySue Rossinow (marysueross@optimum.net), shop in the PBJC gift shop and send tribute cards during the year to earn donor credit.  For tribute cards:

A-GO Betty Crane (bettycrane@optonline.net)

GR-M Melnda Kraus (msubq@aol.com)

N-Z Estelle Stein (estein9@hotmail.com)

As always, thank you for your support of the PBJC Sisterhood.  If you are not already a member, please join us at any of our wonderful events and come see what you’ve been missing.  Please email me at leichts @optonline.net for any questions, suggestions or comments.  Continue to check the PBJC weekly email blasts for future programming updates!

Wishing you and your families a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Wendi Leicht
