GAN (GARDEN) – KINDERGARTEN
These young members of our Religious school are eager to learn about their identity as they begin their Jewish journey. They study holiday cycles through texts, music, and arts and crafts. Students build their knowledge and values, therefore creating a wonderful introduction to Judaism.
ZERAIM (SEEDS) – FIRST GRADE
Jewish holidays, introducing Hebrew letters and our beautiful bible stories are combined in these interactive years of learning. The students discover the importance of the synagogue as a focal center of our community to engage and encourage their love for Jewish life and learning.
SHORASHIM (ROOTS) – SECOND GRADE
Our Shorashim students are introduced to the Hebrew alphabet’s letters and vowels, learn that mitzvot are more than just good deeds and discover the beauty and tranquility of sharing Shabbat with family and friends. Students will begin building a connection to Israel, the Jewish homeland, through age-appropriate text and photographs and will learn key Hebrew terms.
